Depart by motorcoach for your half-day sightseeing tour of Banff.

Banff Gondola: Climb Sulphur Mountain in a record-breaking eight minutes and get a bird’s-eye view of six mountain ranges. Sorry, did we say ‘climb’? We mean ‘ascend in style’ in your fully enclosed four-passenger gondola cabin!

Day 3: Oct 02, 2021

This morning enjoy breakfast at your leisure.
Sightseeing Tour: Banff & Yoho National Parks
Depart by motorcoach for your full-day tour of Banff and Yoho National Park. Yoho National Park offers magnificent natural wonders like the Spiral Tunnels, the turquoise serene waters of Emerald Lake and a natural Rock Bridge spanning the Kicking Horse River.

A stop for free time will be made at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise for you to revel in the breathtaking surroundings of Lake Louise. Reboard your motorcoach and continue your tour concluding with a return to your Banff hotel.

Day 4: Oct 03, 2021

Board your private motorcoach and transfer to your hotel.
Banff to Lake Louise
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train to begin your journey to Kamloops, located in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Your journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior.  Today’s highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie – where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven. Breakfast and lunch are included onboard.

You will arrive in Kamloops between 6:30pm and 8:00pm PT. Spend the evening exploring the city, or relaxing in your hotel. Please note you will not disembark at Lake Louise.
As part of your Rocky Mountaineer vacation package, a voucher is included for an onboard credit. Please present your voucher to your Rocky Mountaineer Host prior to arrival in Kamloops or Quesnel as payment towards your purchases.  As merchandise is stored at the overnight stop and not on the train, we recommend redeeming your merchandise credit on the first leg of your rail journey.
Note: Valid for merchandise purchases onboard the train only. There is no cash refund available for the credit or credit portions.

Coach Transfer: Kamloops Station to Your Hotel
Upon arrival at the Kamloops Station, you will be transferred by motorcoach to your overnight accommodation.

Upon check-in for your train departure you will receive a boarding pass which will indicate your Kamloops accommodation. Your accommodation in Kamloops will be of a moderate standard, but will include all the essential amenities to make your stay comfortable.

Day 5: Oct 04, 2021

Coach Transfer: Your Hotel to Kamloops Station

Early this morning, you will be transferred by motorcoach to the station from your hotel. Your pick-up times will be provided with your final travel documents.

Board the Rocky Mountaineer train at the Kamloops Station at 7:35am PT. On today’s journey west, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.  Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard.

You will arrive in Vancouver between 6:00pm and 7:30pm PT.

A deposit of $800 per person is due with booking, and final payment is due no later than Jun 1, 2021. The advertised price represents a 5% discount for payments made by cash or check.  The price is 5% higher for a credit card payment and requires an authorized signature.  We accept MC, VISA, and AX.  If cancelled before Jun 1, 2021 a $600 per person fee is assessed. If cancelled on or after Jun 1, 2021, trip is non refundable.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Please note that travel insurers are not offering Coronavirus/COVID-19 protection.  Cancellation insurance is highly recommended and must be booked within 15 days of your initial deposit in order for pre-existing conditions to be covered.  “Cancel at Any Time” insurance is available but must be booked at the same time as deposit (same day) and typically only covers 80%.  This email will serve as proof that you understand all of the information contained within and that Sharon Carr Travel has offered you travel insurance.
