Itinerary

Day 1 | Aug 9, 2026 | Barcelona, Spain
The capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, Barcelona, lives up to its reputation as a center of grand architecture and inspiring art. Antoni Gaudi’s Park Guell displays architecture as art, making for a whimsical and colorful stroll through Barcelona. Stretching from La Rambla to Via Laietana you will find the Gothic Quarter, the city’s historic center with intricate medieval buildings and streets turned into modern bars, clubs, and restaurants. A short way up La Rambla you’ll come across La Boqueria, one of Europe’s largest and most famous food markets, filled with fruits, pastries, and many tasty samples of local fare.

Day 2 | Aug 10, 2026 | Valencia, Spain
An exploration of Spain’s third-largest city, Valencia, will leave you in wide-eyed wonder. Its architecture, culture, and flavors amid sun and blue skies provides pure energy and anticipation. Valencia holds the same charms of historical structures as more frequently visited cities in Spain, but with fewer crowds. Over in the City of Arts and Sciences, an expanse of 350,000 square meters of the old Turia riverbed, many institutions – like the Oceanográfic Valencia, Europe’s largest aquarium – invite you to come and play.

Day 3 | Aug 11, 2026 | Ibiza, Spain
Dalt Vila, also known as Ibiza Town, is one of the Balearic’s most picturesque cities and a fabulous place to wander around. It’s home to an old port and historic city ramparts and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The island of Ibiza has some of the most beautiful and well-known beaches in the Mediterranean, including Ses Figueretes and Playa D’en Bossa. Wherever you choose to swim or sunbathe, you will find inviting clear blue waters and golden sands lined with beach bars. For a more relaxing excursion, head toward S’Espalmador, a small, uninhabited island between Ibiza and Formentera.

Day 4 | Aug 12, 2026 Palma de Mallorca, Spain
You know you have arrived in Palma de Mallorca, a major city of the Balearics of Spain, when you are met with majestic limestone cliffs plunging into glimmering blue water. On shore, its rich history is evident in its wonderful buildings, castles, and cathedrals. Take in the landmark Gothic cathedral, La Seu, with its enormous rose window and its wrought-iron canopy over the main altar designed by famed Spanish architect Antonio Gaudí. Go for a run or bike ride along the seaside promenade that connects Palma de Mallorca to the neighboring villages of Portitxol and Es Molinar. Beyond the city, explore the lush Sierra de Tramuntana Valley, the island’s major mountain range and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day4 | Aug 12, 2026 | Solar Eclipse (At Sea)
Spend the day on the high seas pampering yourself at the spa or enjoying some time on deck. Mingle with your fellow explorers and swap stories of your exploits, making plans for new ones together once you get to shore

Day 5 | Aug 13, 2026 | Banyuls-sur-Mer, France
The commune of Banyuls-sur-Mer is a hidden gem nestled on the southern coast of France where azure waters meet lush vineyards. Stroll through bustling markets brimming with fresh produce, fragrant herbs, and an array of seafood straight from the Mediterranean. It’s here you will also venture into the birthplace of Banyuls wine, a sweet, fortified wine that pairs beautifully with both savory and sweet dishes. Enter sun-kissed vineyards and discover the art of winemaking with local vintners or embark on guided tours through historic wineries where the passionate makers will share the secrets of their craft as you taste the vintage, like at the majestic Château de Valmy. Explore the stunning Paulilles Bay beach, the perfect place for sunbathing, swimming and seaside picnics. Take a scenic drive along the Côte Vermeille, offering breathtaking views and hidden coves to discover.

Day 6 | Aug 14, 2026 | Sete (Montpellier), France
Sete lies at the foot of Mount St. Clair between the Gulf of Thau and the Mediterranean Sea. Hike to the summit to explore the Quartier Haute, once inhabited by Italian fishermen and now home mostly to artists who have opened their ateliers. There you can also peruse the Paul Valery Museum, displaying contemporary artists, including Maurice Sarthou, Albert Marquet, and Henry Matisse, as well as the church Notre-Dame-De-La-Salette, built on the site of an ancient fortress built by Louis XIII. A visit to Sete should include a jaunt to the beach-a heavenly strip of sandy coast that stretches for more than seven miles.

Day 7 | Aug 15, 2026 | Antibes, France
Along the famed Côte d’Azur (or French Riviera) lies the coastal city of Antibes, a jewel of natural beauty and fascinating historic sites amid France’s many renowned destinations. Overlooking the Baie des Anges you find Vieil Antibes (Old Town), a combination of cobblestone streets with modern-day restaurants and boutiques that offers a quaint scene for a leisurely stroll. Pristine shores and waterfront restaurants of the beaches invite you to spend a lazy day lounging on the soft sand with a drink in hand.

Day 7 | Aug 15, 2026 | Monte Carlo, Monaco (Overnight)
One of the smallest sovereign states in the world – second only to the Vatican City – the Principality of Monaco is sure to mesmerize you. The most recognized building in Monte Carlo is Place du Casino. Try your luck at this opulent and iconic gaming house, a favorite spot of James Bond movies and real-life celebrities. Another icon is the Prince’s Palace, which you can enter for a glimpse at the Throne Room, with ceiling frescoes painted by Orazio de Ferrari depicting the surrender of Alexander the Great. Every day at five minutes before noon, the white-uniformed guards perform the changing of the guard with the pomp and circumstance you would expect in Monaco.

Itinerary

Day 1 | Aug 11, 2026 | Reykjavik, Iceland

In the southwest of Iceland near Faxaflói Bay lies the capital of the country, Reykjavík, simultaneously cosmopolitan and charming. The colorful houses on the horizon create a quaint scene that will make you want to stay forever.Kaleidoscopic views await you at the Harpa Concert Hall, a glittering, glass structure that perfectly exemplifies Iceland’s modern design and will fascinate your inner architect. One of Iceland’s most prominent landmarks is Perlan, originally a group of hot water tanks that was converted to a building that now hosts an exhibition, planetarium, restaurant and observation deck, located atop Öskjuhlíð hill.

Day 2 | Aug 12, 2026 | Patreksfjörður, Iceland

Tales of sea monsters and sorcerers, bold and beautiful peaks, and charming pubs abound in Patreksfjörður, sitting amid the extraordinary Westfjords. Trek the beach at Rauðisandur (translating to Red Sands). Named for their golden-red hue, these sands create a stunning scene as they meet the bright blue waters. From Patreksfjörður you can also venture to the breathtaking Dynjandi waterfall, the biggest waterfall in the Westfjords. Visit the neighboring village of Hólmavík, home of the world-famous Icelandic Museum of Witchcraft and Sorcery.

Day 2 | Aug 12, 2026 | Solar Eclipse (At Sea)

Spend the day on the high seas pampering yourself at the spa or enjoying some time on deck. Mingle with your fellow explorers and swap stories of your exploits, making plans for new ones together once you get to shore.

Day 3 | Aug 13, 2026 | Grimsey, Iceland

Home to about 100 people — the northernmost inhabited island in Iceland — and one million birds, Grímsey Island is a treasure in the Arctic Circle. The residents enjoy 24 hours of sun throughout the summer, as do the Puffins. Look for the stone sphere marking the edge of the Arctic Circle. Its design makes it easier to move as the Arctic Circle moves, always keeping the true demarcation. Grímsey Island is a birdwatcher’s paradise, filled with various species, including razorbills, kittiwakes, auks and thick-billed murres. Amid the breathtaking landscapes are the island’s basalt columns. These geometric geological structures covered in lush moss dip into the water, creating a mesmerizing scene.

Day 4 | Aug 14, 2026 | Ittoqqortoormiit, Greenland

The name “Ittoqqortoormiit” means “Big-House Dwellers” in the Eastern Greenlandic dialect. Very few visitors make the trek here, as the winters are long, and the sea is frozen for nine months of the year. Ittoqqortoormiit is located at Scoresby Sound and with its side fjord is the largest fjord complex in the world, as well as the world’s longest fjord. Within its borders is the tallest mountain in the Arctic region, the two-mile-tall Gunnbjorn Mountain. During early spring, when the sea ice is still thick, yet the sun is high in the sky, many of the local people go out for a weekend on dog sledding trips.

Day 5 | Aug 15, 2026 | Fjords of Greenland – Captain’s Choice

A once-in-a-lifetime adventure is yours to have on the largest island in the world, Greenland. At the very top of the world, it’s renowned for its vast tundra, immense glaciers and deep fjords. From an aerial view, the systems link together like the roots of a massive tree and stretching coastlines are dotted with small islands. Landscapes include enormous icebergs and glaciers. Depending on the time of year, you may see polar bears hunt on the ice.

CAPTAIN’S CHOICE — Your Captain will expertly navigate ice floes, icebergs and changing sea and weather conditions to ensure you experience the most from your expedition. Each day is a new adventure filled with a spontaneous sense of exploration as your Captain works with our expedition team to determine possible shore landings and Zodiac safaris. All itinerary routes serve as examples and are subject to change based on current conditions, prioritizing the safety and optimal expedition experience for all guests.

Day 6 | Aug 16, 2026 | At Sea

Spend the day on the high seas pampering yourself at the spa or enjoying some time on deck. Mingle with your fellow explorers and swap stories of your exploits, making plans for new ones together once you get to shore.

Day 7 | Aug 17, 2026 | Tasiilaq, Greenland

In Tasiilaq, vibrant Inuit culture meets the rugged beauty of Greenland’s east coast. Nestled among towering fjords and vast icebound terrains, it offers a unique combination of culture, history, and unforgettable adventure. Here, you’re transported into a world where time-honored traditions are integral to daily life. The spirit of the Inuit people thrives in the colorful houses that dot the landscape and the rhythmic drum dances that narrate centuries-old stories. The small yet captivating Ammassalik Museum unveils the area’s rich history, from ancient hunting tools to kayaks that once glided through icy waters. Engage with the warm local communities, renowned for their artisanal crafts and storytelling prowess. The town’s bustling harbor is a hive of activity where fishermen haul the day’s catch, offering you a taste of freshly caught Arctic char and other local delicacies. For the adventurous, there may be opportunities for hiking Flower Valley to breathtaking views, kayaking through serene fjords or whale watching for humpbacks during their summer migration.

Day 8 | Aug 18, 2026 | At Sea

Spend the day on the high seas pampering yourself at the spa or enjoying some time on deck. Mingle with your fellow explorers and swap stories of your exploits, making plans for new ones together once you get to shore.

Day 9 | Aug 19, 2026 | Grundarfjörður, Iceland

Amid the wondrous features of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula lies the small town of Grundarfjörður, home to fewer than 1,000 inhabitants. Its shining star of a landmark, Kirkjufell, translating to “Church Mountain,” beckons explorers to come and discover the beauty of Iceland. Together with the mountain, a three-pronged waterfall called Kirkjufellsfoss creates an exquisite scene straight out of fantasy. Taking a walk through the center of town, you will come across an orca on land. It’s actually a sculpture created by Unnsteinn Guðmundsson and it was modeled after Thunderstorm the orca, a male whale who often greets visitors during whale watching tours.

Day 10 | Aug 20, 2026 | Reykjavik, Iceland

In the southwest of Iceland near Faxaflói Bay lies the capital of the country, Reykjavík, simultaneously cosmopolitan and charming. The colorful houses on the horizon create a quaint scene that will make you want to stay forever.Kaleidoscopic views await you at the Harpa Concert Hall, a glittering, glass structure that perfectly exemplifies Iceland’s modern design and will fascinate your inner architect.
